We are currently seeking a passionate, skilled, and energetic Bartender to join our award-winning Food & Beverage team.

 

About the role

 

As a Bartender at Shangri-La Sydney, you will play a key role in delivering a vibrant and engaging bar experience for our guests. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining outstanding service standards, and contributing to the smooth operation of the venue.

Key responsibilities include:

    • Prepare and serve cocktails, beverages, and specialty drinks to the highest luxury hotel standards

    • Deliver warm, professional, and personalised guest service while maintaining strong product knowledge

    • Ensure consistency in cocktail preparation, presentation, cleanliness, and overall bar operations

    • Maintain stock control, beverage cost management, and accurate POS operation in line with hotel procedures

    • Uphold RSA, HACCP, ISO 22000, and hygiene standards while contributing innovative cocktail ideas and seasonal offerings

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

    • Previous bartending experience within a fast-paced, high-volume, or premium hospitality environment
    • Strong cocktail and beverage knowledge with a passion for mixology
    • A creative approach and flair for delivering memorable beverage experiences
    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
    • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
    • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
    • Full working rights within Australia
