What You'll Be Doing, As the Laundry Supervisor, you will:

• Lead a Team: Organise, coordinate, and control laundry staff to ensure a high standard of service for both hotel guests and employees.

• Stay on Top of Operations: Ensure smooth workflow, proper sorting of linens, and the proper functioning of equipment to avoid any mishaps.

• Health & Safety First: Promote and maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) procedures, and assist in training staff on hazard identification and safety protocols.

• Stock Control & Maintenance: Monitor chemical supplies and equipment, ensure sufficient stock levels, and maintain machinery to keep operations running seamlessly.

• Team Development: Work with the Laundry Manager to implement effective training programs and ensure all team members provide courteous and professional service.

• Support for Special Projects: Be flexible and take on tasks outside of your regular duties to ensure everything runs smoothly, from linen stock takes to special guest requests.

Who We’re Looking For, To succeed in this role, you should:

• Have previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a laundry or hospitality environment.

• Be a strong communicator who can lead by example, ensuring staff perform at their best.

• Be proactive, with the ability to think on your feet and handle any challenges that arise.

• Be familiar with health and safety standards and have a keen eye for detail.

• Be passionate about developing a high-performing team and creating a positive work culture.
