Shangri-La Sydney is seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor to assist the Reservations Centre Manager in supervising the operations of our Reservations Centre. This role involves optimizing booking opportunities, promoting customer retention and loyalty, and ensuring the highest level of service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in supervising the Reservations Centre operations.
Motivate and lead the Reservations Centre team to achieve excellence in service delivery.
Optimize booking opportunities and promote customer retention.
Ensure all departmental employees maintain a high level of professional appearance and follow hotel policies.
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to WHS policies and procedures.
Handle staff scheduling, administrative tasks, and special projects.
Provide continuous hands-on training to staff.
Implement reservation procedures and monitor performance.
Coordinate with internal departments and external systems.
Monitor room inventory and sales strategies to maximize revenue.
Act as the point of contact in the absence of the Reservations Centre Manager
Requirements:
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hotel environment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety practices.
Proficiency in software such as MS Word, Opera PMS, GDS, Book360, FCS, SEVENROOMS, and Infrasys POS.
Familiarity with using a phone/headset and two-way radio.
