Join the team at Shangri-La Sydney as our Procurement Officer, supporting the hotel's end-to-end procurement function. In this role, you’ll source quality goods and services, manage supplier relationships, and ensure all procurement activities are cost-effective, timely, and compliant with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers
Run RFQs, tenders, and negotiate pricing and terms
Process daily purchase requests and maintain accurate records
Ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to procurement policies
Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve issues
About You:
Strong sourcing, negotiation, and organisational skills
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office (Excel an advantage)
Experience in hospitality procurement is desirable
This position is paid on an hourly basis, with an hourly rate offered above the HIGA award.
