We’re looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to lead our Room Service Kitchen and deliver unforgettable dining experiences to our guests.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead & Coordinate – Supervise all food production activities and contribute creative input for promotions.
  • Maintain Quality & Efficiency – Ensure responsible purchasing, proper storage, portion control, and minimal waste.
  • Kitchen Operations & Equipment – Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment, ensuring proper use and timely maintenance.
  • Team & Training – Foster strong relationships across departments and oversee staff training programs.
  • Financial & Compliance – Support kitchen financial management, drive HACCP standards, and uphold cleanliness and hygiene protocols.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Full Working Rights in Australia
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in In Room Dining or similar
  • Ideal for a Chef de Partie looking to make the next step in their career
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • An innovative and enthusiastic approach to menu planning.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety.
