Shangri-La Sydney is looking for a passionate and talented Commis Chef to join our Altitude Kitchen team, where you’ll play a key role in crafting exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
As part of Altitude Kitchen, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple sections of the kitchen, supporting our chefs in preparing high-quality dishes with seasonal Australian produce. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment, while contributing to a creative and collaborative team.
What we’re looking for:
A genuine passion for hospitality and high-quality food
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced chefs
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is desirable (not mandatory for exceptional candidates)
Current Food Safety Certificate
